COVID-19 Safety Guide - Updated June, 2021

While many things changed last year, one thing has remained the same—our commitment to your safety and health. We're so glad that many in our community have now been vaccinated — and want to ensure you that even so, we remain committed to universal precautions to ensure you continue to have a safe visit.

This COVID-19 Safety Guide highlights the continued changes we have implemented to your visit experience. We're closely monitoring the CDC, ADA, OSHA, and WISHA. As they update their guidelines, we'll update our safety practices in real time and reflect those here. Please contact us with any questions or concerns prior to your visit. Thank you for supporting our local practice—we value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.

A safer visit starts before you even come in.

PRE-VISIT HEALTH CHECKS

We'll get in touch to ask some new screening questions that help us understand if you can be seen at this time. If not, we'll ask you to reschedule. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you arrive.

STAGGERING VISIT TIMES

For safety, we ensure minimal appointment overlap. We’ll do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

LIMITING GUESTS

Only parents, guardians, translators or interpreters, and other necessary support people should accompany patients to appointments, and only if their presence is required for treatment.

Changes when you arrive at our office.

SEATING IN THE LOBBY

To provide comfortable and safe seating, our lobby has plenty of room for you to social distance. Several different seating areas are provided. We’ve created this room just for you!

FACE COVERINGS

We continue to have our staff wear masks  in the office during treatment. You are more than welcome to wear a mask or face covering before and after your visit. If you forgot to bring your own, we'll provide you with one.

HAND WASHING/SOCIAL DISTANCING

We’ll ask that you take a moment to wash your hands or use provided hand sanitizer when you arrive. We ask everyone to maintain at least six feet of separation as you move through the office when possible.

A safe and friendly clinical experience—always.

SANITIZATION

We’re maintaining our relentlessly high cleaning and sanitization standards, including disinfection of dental chairs, clinical areas, computers, and high-touch surfaces in the patient waiting room, restrooms, and front office.

STERILIZED EQUIPMENT

As is industry-standard, all of the clinical equipment and instruments we use are either single-use or thoroughly, medically sterilized and prepared for use by our skilled assistants in a controlled environment.

TRAINING & SUPPORT

We’re continually training our staff on new safety and clinical procedures, and have had each member of our team professionally trained and fit-tested while wearing their PPE to ensure it is properly worn and providing maximum protection.

We are here to help.

Have a question or concern about the measures we’re taking to keep you safe? Want to get started with treatment, or reschedule your appointment? Let us know, we’re happy to help.
