Dr. Yirefu (year-a-foo) attended the university of Maryland, college park and earned a degree in biological sciences. She received her degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University and completed a post-doctoral residency with NYU-Langone Health in Advanced General Dentistry.

 

She understands the importance of having access and receiving great dental care. The dental office was her second home growing up due to having significant dental needs. Dr. Yirefu experienced terrible toothaches as a child and had braces in her adolescent years. Her passion is treating children and young adults because she believes the best time to get treatment and education is at a young age.

 

Raised in Maryland, she enjoys hiking and exploring food from different cuisines. Dr. Yirefu is a very accomplished new doctor that models the Pax vision and mission. She can’t wait to meet the patients that make Pax what it is today!
