Dentures

For patients who are missing several or all of their teeth in one or both dental arches, Pax Dental offers comfortable dentures to restore your smile. Custom-made dentures can provide you with the support and functionality of natural teeth, as well as the beauty of a natural smile. With dentures, you can smile with confidence again.

Dentures are removable oral appliances used to replace multiple missing teeth. If you are missing some or all of your teeth, dentures might be just what you need to restore the function, beauty and health of your smile. There are two kinds of dentures: complete dentures and partial dentures.

  • A complete denture is used to replace all of the teeth in a full dental arch. We may suggest a complete denture to replace all of the teeth in one or both arches depending on your individual needs. Our dentists may suggest using a denture adhesive for improved stability.

  • A partial denture is used if you are missing multiple teeth but have natural teeth remaining. A partial denture often includes a thin framework or clasps that attach to the natural teeth for a secure fit.

Our dentists may recommend complete or partial dentures to restore your smile if you are missing

multiple teeth; dentures can improve your ability to properly speak and eat, restore your natural facial volume, and enhance the overall beauty of your smile. Your dentures will be custom made to fit your smile comfortably, aesthetically and securely.

Why choose us?

Creating a natural-looking and durable restoration requires special skills and attention to detail. To be successful, your dentist must:

  • Fully understand your unique needs and recommend the perfect type of denture

  • Take a 3D impression of your mouth to form a precise model of your gums

  • Use high-quality materials and a top-rated lab to construct a custom-made prosthesis

  • Work closely with you to address any fussy spots and ensure a perfect, comfortable fit

At Pax Dental, we have this process down to a science. We offer the gentle care and expertise required for a successful treatment and want to help restore your smile and confidence, too. Our team is trusted throughout the Tri-County area and we’d love the chance to earn your trust as well.

Are dentures right for me?

If you are missing most or all of your teeth due to an issue like severe periodontal (gum) disease, tooth decay, or a dental injury, full arch dentures from Pax Dental can give you your smile back. Dentures are an affordable, efficient way to restore your smile after tooth loss, and our team will take care of you throughout the entire process.

What should I do to take care of my mouth?

Even with full dentures, you still need to take good care of your mouth. Every morning, brush your gums, tongue and palate with a soft-bristled brush before you put in your dentures. This removes plaque and stimulates circulation in the mouth. Selecting a balanced diet for proper nutrition is also important for maintaining a healthy mouth.

Will my dentures need adjusting?

Over time, adjusting the denture may be necessary. As you age, your mouth naturally changes, which can affect the fit of the denture. Your bone and gum ridges can recede or shrink, resulting in a loose-fitting denture. Dentures that do not fit properly should be adjusted by your dentist.
